Multiplier does not raise the cap

The multiplier multiplies the value of the winning line: a three-symbol hit with a ×3 multiplier pays three times. It's the most striking single feature of a slot, so read it carefully — the notation Multiplier is in this catalog 21 on the game's list of 58.

There are three types of multipliers and they behave differently. In 5 games the multiplier is drawn randomly during the base game, in 4 games it is fixed to the wild and in 9 games it only appears of free spins time. The practical difference is whether you need to do something to trigger the multiplier or whether it comes automatically.

One thing a multiplier does not do: it does not raise the game's win cap. The cap is what is written in the game's information — on this list the largest marked is 388 800× (Medusa’s Blessing, Bigpot Gaming). The multiplier applies within the cap, not above it. The type of multiplier doesn't directly affect the RTP: you can only see that from the game's own RTP labelling.
