Who is Saara
Saara Nieminen started writing game-related texts in 2019, when she noticed that Finnish guides repeated the same translated phrases but the actual issues weren't explained. She now writes MedusaSlots' basic blog posts: what RTP means, how to read a paytable, what the bonus terms really say and how to keep a gaming budget under control.
The working order is always the same. First open the game's or casino's terms page, then notes and screenshots, and only lastly the text. If a value is missing from the source, it is written as missing — a guess is a worse error in Saara's texts than a gap. She does not write winning tips or game systems, because none exist: every spin of a slot is drawn separately.
The style is deliberately plain. Saara assumes the reader is not a mathematician but can think, and that they deserve the same information that appears in the game's own materials — only in Finnish and without marketing jargon. Responsible gambling topics are part of every guide in her texts, not a separate closing note.
